Dutch Businesses Benefit From Increase In Electric Vehicles In 2016
In 2016, 26,000 new electric vehicles were registered in Holland. The number of public charging points increased by 60%, from 7,400 to 12,000, partly because of a government impulse. And Dutch businesses are benefitting. The electric vehicles (EV) sector gained up to 900 new fulltime jobs.
These figures are taken from the Annual Report on Electric Transport 2016, which the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO.nl) published. It was commissioned by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs.
