Dutch solar start-up wins Clean Tech Open award
Dutch solar energy start-up Eternal Sun has won a Global Ideas Award at the Clean Tech Open global forum in San Jose, Silicon Valley.
Eternal Sun was founded as a spin-off from a research project of the Delft University of Technology. The high-tech company is specialised in solar simulation technology. Its equipment is used to test the performance of solar energy products in all kinds of weather conditions. “Winning this award is just a great acknowledgement,” said Eternal Sun founder Chokri Mousaoui, “Not only will it open the right doors for us, the Clean Tech Open is internationally known as the most prestigious Clean Tech Award. Winning this price as a Dutch company here in Silicon Valley, it feels like winning the Academy Award!”
