Daan Roosegaarde nominated for World Technology Award
Dutch artist and innovator Daan Roosegaarde has been nominated for the World Technology Award, a prestigious international technology and innovation prize.

Roosegaarde (1979) is nominated in the category 'Art' by Time, NASDAQ, Fortune, Science, NYAS and The Technology Review. Roosegaarde's competitors for the award include Google doodler Dennis Hwang, composer R. Luke DuBois and 3D film expert Mark Anton Read. Roosegaarde is internationally renowned for his futuristic interactive creations, including glow-in-the-dark 'smart highways' and clothes that reveal when you're lying. The award winners will be announced at the World Technology Summit on 14 and 15 November at the United Nations headquarters in New York.
